About the neighborhood

The Buri-Buri Neighborhood sits just north of the California golf course and Westborough Ave, between 280 and El Camino Real. And its northern neighbor is the Serra Highlands neighborhood. The dividing line is roughly the Buri-Buri school and the two Alta Mesa and El Campo Drives.

Buri-Buri homes reflect the consistency of a well-planned development. Homes range in size between approximately 1,100 – 1,300 sq.ft. (if original) on 4,500-5,000 sq.ft. lots. Corner lots of course boast bigger areas. Buri-Buri homes are primarily single story, although there are a few split-level homes sprinkled around to take advantage of the gentle slope of the area.

Of course there are those that have been added on to over the years. Stucco and wood-clad exteriors, classical trim and some front porches remind us of 1950’s living.
